Viewsonic Td2220 Touch Screen Calibration

Sep 05, 2018  My Viewsonic TD2220 touchscreen abilities stopped working. It is a compatible monitor for Win 8 and it was working fine a couple of weeks ago. The only thing I know I've done is allowed the updates from Windows and used my generic tablet and pen (it's compatible with Illustrator whereas the touchscreen monitor isn't for. Everyone is trying to get a piece of the action, including ELO Touch Solutions, Laiputuo Electronics, Planar, HP, 3M, Touch Systems, ViewSonic, Dell and ACER as well. Getting into the touchscreen monitor game is a no-brainer for the companies involved in this generation of computing.

This thread is a bit old, but for others' benefit, try this:

Make sure the USB is connected on the touch monitor first. Note that if the USB cable is not connected, touch settings may not appear in the control panel.

press the Windows button and go to Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Tablet PC Settings>'Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input'

If you have two monitors and the primary one is the touch, then click calibrate and follow what the wizards tell you.

If you have two monitors and the secondary one is the touch, then you'll notice that if you drop down the pick list under Display options, the calibrate button grays out. Strange right? So do this: In the same Display tab in the Configure section, click Setup. As the message states, hit enter on the keyboard to go to the second monitor. Next, touch the second monitor, then hit Esc on the keyboard.
