I am having trouble with Lexmark 5600-6600 not printing. I have tried everything I know to do. It worked fine yesterday.

For $500 you could have backed everything up and installed from scratch and would have been more certain things were clean. $500 for *Lexmark* to clean up your computer (they are not in that business) and they did not fix your printer (they are in that business.)

All together - yes - it sounds like you have been scammed, but not knowing the number you called (want to supply that along with the web page you found it at?) and who exactly 'cleaned; your computer - I cannot say for sure - but $500 is ridiculous as you could have bough a new computer with Windows 7 or 8 for that much without issues.
